The Dogtra 2500 T&B has a 1-mile range and the unit is 100% waterproof. Also, you can confidently have your dog leash free without bothering about a signal matchup with another collar. Dogtra has a good 8000 different identity codes to avoid this kind of situation.
The Beeper has Three Different Modes:
- Run and point – The ‘mode’ button has to be pressed once to activate the run and point mode. Once activated, it beeps every 2 seconds when your dog is on point i.e. stationary, and every 7 seconds when he’s running.
- Point – A second push to the ‘mode’ button activates the point mode. Now the collar will beep every 2 seconds when the dog is stationary and remain silent when he’s running. A third push to the button turns the beeper off. Dogtra 2500 T&B allows you to manage the tone of the beeper between high and low, another very useful feature. A toggle switch on the transmitter facilitates this.
- Locate – this mode has a specific button with the same name for its operation. It allows you to keep a track of your dog’s location. When pressed, the beeper horn of the collar gives out a series of beeps. A two hour rapid charge Lithium-Polymer battery gives both the transmitter and the collar a really long life. It’s also easily replaceable but if ample care is taken that won’t be necessary for at least four to five years.
The battery life is indicated with a three tri-color LED indicator. It can also be checked on the LCD screen which is on the transmitter. The LCD screen also shows the stimulation intensity level, and makes use in the dark very easy.
